The skirt is made of high quality insulating vinyl and it is in good condition. The interior is in great condition as well as the pump and controls. The cover is a little heavy but works well. If looks matter, a new cover is $250 with your choice of vinyl color. A color changing light is just $36 more and a new filter $25.

1.High Quality 5/16" Lucite Acrylic costs manufacturers $1150 per sheet. There are over 200 manufacturers and less than 100,000 hot tubs being sold annually right now. Don't believe their line they are selling bulk.
2. Exterior Skirting and Framework: Many spa manufacturers are using untreated 3/4" (1x4's) wood to support the nearly 4000 pound spa (When filled with water). That works fine as long as you leave the spa where it is. What about when you move it in 3-5 years .... after that thin wood has time to rot because it isn't treated .. or even painted? I have seen too many cheaply made spas coming apart.
